Foul play is suspected after police discovered a man’s body by the side of the road in Surrey, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) says.
Shortly after 1 p.m. Wednesday, Surrey Police Service (SPS) officers were called to the area of 156 Street and 61 Avenue after reports of a human body being discovered, according to an IHIT news release.
“Foul play is suspected and IHIT has now taken over the investigation,” the news release says.
“IHIT investigators are working in partnership with SPS investigators to complete priority investigative tasks.”
