An “unfolding event” has Mounties in Richmond urging the public to stay away from No. 4 Road and Westminster Highway Wednesday morning.
While details are scarce, 1130 NewsRadio has been told that police are searching for a suspect. The Emergency Response Team has been called out, according to reports.
The Richmond RCMP says the incident will impact commuters in the area.
“Traffic and transit will be affected along Westminster Hwy between No 4 Rd and Shell Rd, as well as No 4 Rd between Westminster Hwy and Granville Ave,” Mounties said.
More information about the incident will be released as it becomes available, the RCMP said.
