Nanaimo massage therapist accused of sexual misconduct

Interim orders apply to a local massage therapist in response to a complaint from a female client.

The patient made the report to the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC) on Wednesday, April 23 regarding the alleged conduct of Robert Paradis, a Nanaimo-based registered massage therapist.

The CCHPBC Inquiry Committee implemented an extraordinary action leading to interim restrictive conditions on Paradis’ massage therapy services.

According to the interim order, the Inquiry Committee panel considered the allegations serious and that factors indicating the alleged conduct would likely reoccur.
