While you might think about adding an extra layer to your costume if you’re planning on trick-or-treating on Halloween, you won’t have to worry about rain.
CityNews Meteorologist Michael Kuss says it’ll be warmer on Tuesday than it has been over the last couple of days, even into the evening.
“Sunset is coming in about 5:49, 5:50 p.m., and it actually looks like we’re expecting to see 6 p.m. temperatures around eight degrees, six degrees — no cooler than that at eight or nine p.m.”
But Kuss says you won’t need to convince your trick-or-treater to put on a raincoat and cover their costume.
“It’s totally dry,” he said. “It’s mainly clear sky.”
Kuss also explains the moon won’t be rising until about 7:18 p.m., giving a real window of darkness.
“It will be quite dark for about an hour or so before that moon comes up, and it’s just a few days past fall, so it will be quite dark.”
