Firefighters responded to a blaze at a vacant home in Langley Township Thursday morning.
The RCMP says fire crews were called out to the area of 204 Street and 70 Avenue just before 7 a.m.
Images from the scene show flames shooting from the house and smoke billowing into the air.
“We are in the very early stages of this investigation and actively working with the fire department to determine the cause of this fire,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom.
Drivers are asked to steer clear of the scene, and anyone with information about the fire is asked to contact the Langley RCMP and quote file 2025-5160.
